Roll Call members Present District 1, Michael Stromer, District 2, Glen Larsen, District 3, Lee Hogan, District 4,Scott Thomsen, District 5, Dale Curtis, District 6,Chuck Neumann, District t 7, Eldon Orthmann. Motion by Curtis,seconded by Hogan that this is an open public meeting of the Adams County Board of Supervisors, Roll Call: Stromer, Larsen, Hogan,Thomsen,Curtis, Neumann, and Orthmann. Nays, none Orthmann stated that the minutes from the July 2, 2019 meeting have been circulated and will stand approved unless there is a correction. Public Notice of this meeting has been given by publication in the Hastings Tribune and by posting. An agenda was available to the board members and was kept continuously current and posted in the County Clerk's office, the main courthouse lobby and the Adams County website. Curry,Treasurer in and for the County of Adams,State of Nebraska, a list of all delinquent Real Estate Taxes in said County of Adams, as required by Section 77-191E of the Revised Statutes of Nebraska 1943,as of July 12,2019: THEREFORE, be it resolved that Melanie J.Curry,the County Treasurer, hereb is directed to issue Tax Sale Certificates on those parcels upon which there is one or more years delinquent Real Estate Taxes. She asked the Board to consider funding the cost associated with the care. No action was taken. Joe Budnik,Chief Officer of the State of Nebraska District 10 Probation Office presented his budget for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$63,486. No action was taken on the State of Nebraska District 10 Probation Office budget request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Donna Fegler Daiss,Adams County Attorney presented her budget request for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$1,359,000.00. Fegler-Daiss also present the budget for the Law Library for the fiscal year 2019-2020 in the amount of$37,410.00 No action was taken on the County Attorney Office and Law Library budget requests as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Chris Long Veterans Service Officer for the Adams County Veterans Office presented his budget request for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$191,175.00. No action was taken on the Adams County Veterans Office budget request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Ron Kucera,Adams County IT Director,for the Adams County IT Department presented his budget request for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$308,513.00. 643 No action was taken on the IT Department budget request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Melanie Curry Adams County Treasurer for the Adams County Treasures Office presented her budget request for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$616,420.12 No action was taken on the Adams County Treasures budget request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Rachel Ormsby Adams County Register of Deeds presented her budget for the Register of Deeds office for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$260,971.56. Ormsby also requested $6,400.00 for the microfilm budget and $83,408.55 for the Register of Deeds preservation and modernization. No action was taken on the Adams County register of Deeds, Microfilm and preservation and modernization budget requests as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Ron Seymour, UNL extension educator for the Adams County Extension Office presented his budget for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$228,966.00 No action was taken on the Adams County Extension Office budget request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. John Rust Adams County Sheriff presented his budget for the Sheriffs office for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$2,412,833.00 No action was taken on the Adams County Sheriff Office budget request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. John Rust Adams County Sheriff presented the budget for the Jail for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$2,661,985.00. No action was taken on the Adams County jail Budget request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Judge Stephen Illingworth,Adams County District Court Judge presented his budget for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$62,292.55. No action was taken on the Adams County District Judge request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Jackie Russell Adams County Assessor presented her budget for the Adams County Assessors Office for the 2019-2020 Fiscal year in the amount of$531,000.00. No action was taken on the Adams County Assessor Office request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Amanda Bauer Clerk of the District Court presented her budget for the District Court for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$482,704.87. No action was taken on the Adams County District Court request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Tom Hawes Clerk of the County Court presented his budget for the County Court for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$182,000.00 No action was taken on the Adams County Court request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Dawn Miller Presented Notice of Intent to award contract trucking services to haul dirt from Coaltrain to southwest portion of Adams County. Per State Statutes 23-3109 &23-3114. Motion to Award Notice of Intent was made by Neumann and seconded by Hogan. Roll Call:Ayes,Thomsen,Stromer, Hogan, Larsen,Orthmann, Neumann and Curtis. Nays, none. Dawn Miller, Director of the Adams County Weed Department presented the budget for the Weeds Department for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$92,310.00 No action was taken on the Adams County Court request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. 644 Dawn Miller, Director of the Adams Roads Department presented the budget for the Roads Department for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$6,207,646.00. Miller also presented budgets for the following projects for the fiscal 2019-2020 year CI-493 Southeast truck route in the amount of$758,031.00 Project CI-503 Joint with NDOT,City of Hastings and Adams County in the amount of $1,216,865.00 Project CI-506 Roundabout with NDOT,Adams County School and Adams County for the fiscal year in the amount of$1,302,000.00 No action was taken on the Adams County roads,CI-493,CI-503 and CI-506 budget requests as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Jolene Laux Manager of the Adams Fairgrounds presented her budget for the 2019-2020 fiscal year in the amount of$694,307.00 No action was taken on the Adams County Fairgrounds request as all budget request will be considered during later budget hearings. Lee Hogan presented the 2019-2020 fiscal year County Match request for Region 3 Behavioral Services in the amount of$80,625.74.
