Motion by Curtis,seconded by Larsen that this is an open public meeting of the Adams County Board of Commissioners. Roll Call,Ayes:Stromer, Larsen, Hogan,Johnson, Curtis, Patterson Nays: None Absent: Neumann Chairman Hogan inquired if there were any conflicts of interest. No conflicts were disclosed. Commissioner Neumann joined the meeting at 9:32 am Roll was taken, roll call members present, Michael Stromer-District 1, Glen Larsen—District 2, Lee Hogan- District 3, Harold Johnson—District 4, Dale Curtis- District 5, Chuck Neumann—District 6,Joe Patterson - District 7. Judy Mignery spoke during public comment to state a reminder of the walk out on work and county flu shot events on October 5, 2022. No additional public comments were made. Motion by Patterson, seconded by Johnson to approve all consent agenda items. Extensive discussion occurred regarding the amount of ARPA funds still available and the amount of ARPA funds already committed to projects. Motion by Neumann, seconded by Stromer to table discussion on ARPA funds for road projects until the November 1, 2022 meeting. Lot 1 contains a house,garage,well and septic system. Lot 2 contains a cemetery. The 1a Evangelical Lutheran Zion Church appeared before the Board of Adjustments on August 11, 2022 to request a variance on Lot size for Lot 1. The Board of Adjustments granted the request based on the narrowness of property,shape of the property,shallowness of property and topographical conditions of the property. The cemetery limits the size of the lot.The tract does not fall within the floodplain. The plans have been approved by the Adams County Planning and Zoning Committee and Mignery is now requesting county board approval. Motion by Neumann, seconded by Patterson to approve the plans for the Lutheran Zion Subdivision.
