Regular meeting of. the Adams County Board of Supervisors as per adjournment of December 28, 1929.
Meeting called to order by the Clerk in the absence of the chairman. Roll call, all members present except
Mr. Rainf orth.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Cole that P. H. Gartner act as temporary chairman. Motion carried.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Whitesel that the following miscellaneous receipts be made a part of the Super-

Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Whitesel that the 535,000 Liberty Loans offered by The State Bankof Hastings
as security for County Funds be approved. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Bauer that the Surety Bond of the State Bank of Hastings for $50,000 issued by
the Southern Surety Co. of New York to secure County Funds be approved. Motion carried.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Whitesel that the Surety Bond for the First National Bank for $10,000 issued by
the New Amsterdam Casualty Co to secure County Funds be approved. Motion carried.
Motion by Whitesel, seconded by Furry that the following claims be allowed on their respective funds and the
Clerk instructed to issue warrants for same. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.

Motion by Whiet:el, seconded by Furry that the order of the Court be complied with in regard to granting
Mother's pension to Rose Huls, Margaret Corwin, and Emma Swanson, and the clerk instructed to issue warrants
for same.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Furry that the annual report of Martha Schultz, County Supertendent, be placed
on file. Motion carried.
Motion by Whitesel, seconded by Furry that the application of Mrs. Emma B. Clark Kellison for admission to
Nebraska Soldiers & Sailors Home be granted. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Cole that as there appears to be no more unfinished business that this board
now adjourn sine die. Motion carried.
Meeting called to order by the Clerk at 11:50 A. M. with all members present except Mr. Rainforth.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Whitesel that P. H. Gartner act as temporary chairman. Motion carried.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Ruhter that we proceed by informal ballot to elect a permanent chairman. Motion
carried.
Whitesel and Cole were appointed as tellers with results as follows Gartner 5, Cole 1.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Whitesel that we suspend the rules and declare the informal ballot formal
and P. H. Gartner duly elected chairman. =Roll call, ayes Bauer, Cole, Furry, Ruhter & Whitesel. Gartner
not voting. Motion carried.
At 12 o'clock noon the Board recessed until 1:30 P.M., when they again resumed with all members present ex-
cept Mr. Rainforth. The chairman announced the following standing committees for the year 1930:

Statutory meeting of the Board.
P. H. Gartner, chairman presiding. Roll call, Members present:

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Bauer, Furry, Gartner, Ruhter & Cole. Rain -
At 10:30 Whitesel came in.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Cole that the request of the Roseland State Bank to become a depository for an
additional $11,000 of County Funds and the First State Bank, of Hayland to become a depository for an addition
$7,500.00 of County Funds, to be secured by sufficient bonds, be granted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion
carried.
Motion by Whitesel, seconded by Cole that the annual report of H. E. Marion and Owen G. Evans, members of the
Soldiers and Sailors relief Commission, be placed on file. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Whitesel that we reappoint Owen G. Evans as a member of the Soldiers & Sailors
Relief Commission for a term of three years. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Furry that the Bond of Harry E. Marion as a member of the Soldiers and Sailors
Relief Commission be approved. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Whitesel that the County Clerk be and is hereby authorized to issue warrants
on the 1st day of each month to all county officers, deputies and clerks in County Offices who are entitled
to receive pay on county warrants and in such amount as are fixed by the law governing the different county
offices, or upon agreement with the County Board. Also, that the chairman of the board be authorized to
sign such warrants. Also, that this order apply to county road employees who are to receive a monthly
salary. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Bauer, seconded by Cole that the annual report of M. Fred Ruhter, Chairman of the County Farm
Committee, be placed on file. Motion carried.
At 12 oarlock noon the Board recessed until 1:15 P.M.
At 1:15 P.M. the Board resumed with all members present except Rainforth. Roll call.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Ruhter that the Fourth Quarterly report of the County Judge, the FourthQuarter-
ly report of County Sheriff, the annual report of the County Sheriff for collections of Personal taxes on
distress warrants, and the semi-annual report of the County Clerk be placed on file. Motion carried.
Motion by Whitesel, seconded by Furry that the Kenesaw Progress be designated as the Official County Paper
for the year 1930. Roll call, Ayes --Bauer, Cole, Furry, Ruhter and Whitesel. Nayes--Gartner. Motion carried.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Ruhter that we take an informal ballot for a Highway Commissioner for the year
1930. Motion carried.
The Chairman appointed Whitesel and Furry as tellers. Results as follows: Gartner 2, Ruhter 2, Cole
Whitesel 1.
The Chairman announced that we take a formal ballot. Results, as follows: Ruhter 3, Gartner 3.
Second Ballot: Gartner 4, Whitesel 1, Ruhter 1.
P. H. Gartner receiving the highest number of votes is duly elected Highway Commissioner.

for the County Attorney's Office for the year 1930 at a salary of $100.00 per month. Roll,call, ayes --
Bauer, 'Furry, Gartner, Ruhter and Whitesel. Cole not voting. Motion carried.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Whitesel that the Surety Bonds of the First National Bank issued.by the
American Employers Ins. Co. for $10,000.00; Central West Casualty Co for $10,000.00; National Surety Co.
for $5,000.00; National Surety Co. for $5,000.00; Union Indemnity Co. for $15,000.00; to secure County
Funds, be approved. Boll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Whitesel, seconded by Ruhter that this Board now adjourn to meet Feb. 5, 1930 at 9 A. M. Motion
carried.

Regular meeting of the Adams County Board of Supervisors as per adjournment of January ll4th, 1930.
Meeting called to order by the chairman. Roll call, members present Bauer, Furry, Gartner, Ruhter, Wh:tesel,
and Cole.
Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Ruhter, that the following resolution be adopted:
WHEREAS; T. R. Rainforth, Supervisor of District #7, Adams County, Nebraska, and serving Adams County in that
capacity for several years, departed this life on January 16, 1930.
AND WHEREAS: We deplore the loss of his valuable services, to the County of Adams in the capacity of Supervisor
and that we will miss the pleasant association we had with him on the Adams County Board.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, By the Adams County Board of Supervisors that these Resolutions of Respect be spread
on our record and a copy of the same be sent to the family of the deceased.

Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Whitesel, that the Surety Bond of the Nebraska National Bank issued by the
National Surety Company for $10,000, The Standard Accident Insurance for $10,000, The Union Indemnity Company
for $5,000, The Standard Accident Insurance Company for $10,000, tosecure County Funds and the surety Bonds of
the First National Bank issued by the Glens Falls Indemnity Company for $10,000 and the Fidelity and Casualty
Company for $10,000, to secure County Funds be approved. Motion carried.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Furry,that the Surety Bond of the Democrat Printing Company issued by the
Fidelity and Deposit Company for $1,000 be approved. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Whitesel, that the semi-annual report of the County Treasurer be placed on file.
Motion carried.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Ruhter that the petition of Henry Bittfield and others be placed on file. Motion
carried.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Whitesel, that the order of the court in regard to the renewal of Mother's pension
for Mea. Kueck be granted and the Clerk instructed to issue warrants for same. Roll call, all voted aye.
Motion carried.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Ruhter, that the following road overseers Bonds be approved: District #4,
Hanover Township, J. B. Harrenstein, District #2, Ayr Township, Bob Brown, District #40., Ayr Township, B. G.
Wigert, Ayr Township, District #3, Nick Scholl, District#2, Roseland Township, Joseph J. Pitz, District #1,
Roseland Township, W. W. Kendall, District #1, Ayr Township, Grover Brannagan, and District #4, Zero Town-
ship, Gust Mantie. Motion carried.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Furry, that the fourth quarterly report of the Register of Deeds be placed on
file. Motion carried.
Motion by Whitesel, seconded by Furry, that the fourth quarterly and annual report of Lucia Dillenbach,
Clerk of District Court, be placed on file. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Furry that the following named persons be appointed as Road Dragging Supertendents
in their respective Townships for the year of 1930. District #1 --Morris Asmus, West Blue Township, O. M. Doty,
Highland Township, Frank Quade, Denver Township, E. W. Leuze, Blaine Township. District #2--W. B. Bobbitt,
Wanda Township, Cecil Buskirk, Juniata Township, R. W. Balke, Kenesaw Township, H. C. Saddler, Verona Township.
District #3 --Ed Gentert, Logan Township, Art Burge, Silver Lake Township, J. J. Krall, Cottonwood Township,
Al Siren, Roseland Township, District #14-- Dan Schunerele, Little Blue Township, W. E. Stromer, Han-
over Township, Bert Dericks, Ayr Township, Simon Gerloff, Zero Township.
Motion carried.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Whitesel, that we adopt the plan for steel, Wood and concrete Bridges, now on
file in the office of the County Clerk with all specifications as enumerated therein, as the official plans
for the building of bridges in Adams County, Nebraska for the year 1930. Roll call all voted aye. Motion
carried.
Motion by Ruhter,seconded by Furry that the County Clerk be and is hereby instructed by this Board to advertise
for bids for the construction of steel, wood and concrete bridges, on a yearly contract basis,for the year
1930. Motion carried.
At 12 o'clock noon the board recessed until 1:15 P.M.
At 1:15 P.M. the board again resumed with members present as follows: Gartner, Cole, Ruhter, Whitesel, Bauer
and Furry.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Whitesel, that we approprate $20,000 from the Road Dragging Fund to the County
Highway Budget for the year 1930. This S20,000 to be divided equally between Supervisors Districts number 1,
2, 3, and 4 respectively, in the amount of $5,000 to each named District. This Budget is adopted by the
Board and expected. to cover all costs of the construction and maintenance of the County Highway system of
Adams County for the year 1930. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Whitesel, that the County Treasurer be and is hereby instructed to transfer
20,473.82 from the Road Dragging Fund to the County Highway Fund, Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Whitesel that we buy a 12 foot Adams Grader from the J. D. Adams Co. at an agreed
price of $1955.00 F.O.B. Kenesaw, Nebraska. Roll call, Ayes Bauer, Furry, Gartner, Ruhter and Whitesel.

At this time the matter of the appointment of a supervisor to fill the vacancy, caused by the death of T. R.
Rainforth came up and the following list of applications for the position were read by the Clerk: Jesse
Marian, J, H. Itzen, Thos. R. Varah, Geo, W. Bivens, John B. Lancaster, C. G. Ingraham, Geo. W. Maxwell,
and Theo. Sims.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Ruhter, that we proceed to an informal ballot for the appointment of a Supervisor
for District #7 to fill the vacancy.
The Chairman appointed Ruhter and Cole as tellers. An informal ballot was taken Which resulted as follows:

Supervisor for District #7 is hereby declared appointed Supervisor of District #7 to fill the vacancy.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Ruhter, that the appointment of Jesse E. Marian as Supervisor for District
#7 to fill the vacancy be made unanimous. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Furry, that we buy from the Lincoln Road Equipment Company Two No 60 Cater-
piller Tractors at an agreed price of $734.00 F.O.B. Kenesaw and the Chairman ordered to sign order for
same. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Cole, that this board now adjourn to meet again on March 5th, 1930 at 9 otclock

Adams County Court House that will keep the total expense at or below the present rate.

Motion by Cole, seconded by Ruhter, that the order of the court be complied with in regard to renewal of Mother's

Motion by Whitesel, seconded by Cole, that the Surety Bond of the First National Bank issued by the Union
Indemnity Company for $8,000.00 to secure Count* maids be approved. Motion carried.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Ruhter, that the request of School District #12 to levy a special building fund
tax of two mills a year on the assessed valuation of said District #12 for a period of five years, or until
a sum of money amounting to $5,000.00 is raised by taxation for the purpose of building a new school house.

Motion by Cole, seconded by Furry that the request of Pearl Woodworth County Treasurer be granted and that we
confirm the appointment of Julius Polenske as Deputy Treasurer. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.

The Clerk of County Court testified that the County Judge approved of the bond of Jesse Marian, Supervisor
in District #7.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Ruhter, that the request of A. W. Borden in regard to cancelling taxes on East
157 ft. Si Si, Block 8 in Alexander 1st. Addition for the said year 1921 on account of said property being
used as church property at that time be granted, and the County Clerk be instructed to strike the same from
the tax list. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.

At 2o'clock the time advertised to, open bids for bridges, the chairman ordered the clerk to open same.

Motion by Cole, seconded by Marian, that the clerical help in the County Assessor's office be paid at the
rate of $100.00 per month. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Whitesel, that the following resolution be adopted: Whereas, the road on
section line between Adams and Buffalo Counties, State of Nebraska, between Section 6, Township 8, North
Range 12, West of 6th P. M., Adams County, and Section 1, Township 8, North Range 13, West of 6th P. M.
Buffalo County, Nebraska, commencing at the north bank of the South Channel of the Platte River, and
running thence north on County line a distance of (8/10) Eight tenth's of one mile to the intersection
with road running east and west at Denman, Nebraska has never been set out as per division made by said
Counties, therefor, be and is hereby resolved that Buffalo County grade and maintain (4/10) Four tenth's
of said mile commencing at intersection at Denman, Nebraska, running south, and Adams County grade and
maintain (4/10) Four tenth's of mile commencing at north bank of South Channel of Platte River running
north and connecting with road graded and maintained by Buffalo County and said road be declared four
rods wide. Two rods of said road to lie in Buffalo County and two rods to lay in Adams County, Nebraska,
and the County clerk be instructed to place same on road plot book. Roll call, all voted aye. Mbtion

Motion by Cole, seconded by Bauer, that the order of the court be complied with in regard to renewal of
Mother's Pension: Minnie Kenyon, Vera Dean Sanford, Ethel Mayhew, and the Clerk instructed to issue
warrants for the same. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
A communication from the Western Brick & Supply Company was read but no action was taken.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Furry, that the petition of D. Willmes and others to gravel 8 miles of
county road No. 24, and the petition of John Klein and others to gravel 8 miles of county road No. 27
be placed on file. Motion carried.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Ruhter, that the following Road Overseer Bonds be approved: Wm. Palmer,

Regular meeting of the Adams County Board of Supervisors held as per adjournment of May 6, 1930.
Meeting called to order by the chairman. Roll call, members present as follows: Bauer, Cole, Furry, Gartner,
Marian, Ruhter and Whitesel.
Minutes of the last meeting were .read and approved.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Furry, that the order of the court be complied with in regard to Mother's Pension
for Emma Dell Young, Lucy Blunt, and Ruth Kunselman, and the clerk instructed to issue warrants for the
same. Roll call. ,All voted we. Motion carried.
Motion by Furry, seconded by Whitesel, that the Road Overseer's bond of Harvey P. Jones for District #2,
Little Blue Township, be approved. Motion carried.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Marian, that, whereas, the Central Power Co. having on May 29, 1930 withdrew
their proteset on Franchise tax as assessed for the year 1929 amounting to $936.66 and requested that
proper distribution of the tax be persued in the regular way; that the County Treasurer be ordered to make
said distribution. Roll call. All voted aye. Motion carried.
At 12 o'clock noon the board recessed until 1:30 P.M. At 1:30 P. M. The board again resumed with all
Members present. Roll call.
Motion by Whitesel, seconded by Furry, that the following miscellaneous receipts be made a part of the

P. H. Gartner, Chairman, presiding. Roll call, all members were present including the County Assessor and
County Clerk.
Motion by Bauer, seconded by Marian, that the request of W. A. Taylor for a reduction in valuation of NI of NW4
Section 27, Township 5, Range 12 be not granted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Proffitt, seconded by Whitesel, that the valuation of improvement on E 68 ft., Lots 7-8-9, Block 1
in lst Addition to Kenesaw, be reduced $300. Roll cal, all voted aye. Motion carried. ,
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Marian, that the request for reduction'Aon improvement on Lot 11, Block 8, West G --
Lawn Addition be granted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Proffitt, seconded by Bauer, that the request for a reductio Aon Improvement on Block 17, Spencer
Bros. Addition be granted, and Lot 1-20 Block 2, Steven's Sub Div. be not granted. Roll call, all voted aye.
Motion carried.
At 12 o'clock noon the board recessed until 1:15 P. M. At 1:15 P.M. the Board again resumed with all members
present.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Ruhter, that the request to reduce improvements on Lot 1, and 2, Oliver Sub. Div.
of Block 21, Original Town, be not granted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Marian, that the valuation on improvement on Lots 8-9-10 Block 3, in Village of
Roseland be reduced $350. Motion carried. Roll call, all voted aye.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Furry that the request to reduce valuation on WW Section 14, Township 5, Range 11,
in Silver Lake Township be not granted. Roll call. Ayes, Bauer, Cole, Furry, Gartner, Marian, Whitesel

Motion by Bauer, seconded by Whitesel, that the value of improvement on N 100 ft. of S 50i Wi Block 9, in St.
Joe Add. be reduced $100.00, and that the request to reduce valuation on improvement on Lot 10 & 11, Block 32 in
St. Joe Addition be not granted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Furry, that the valuation on improvement on Lots 11-19, Block 1, in Roseland
Village be reduced $300. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motio* by Ruhter,seconded by Marian, that the valuation of Real Estate in Roseland Township be reduced 5% and
the County Assessor be authorized to th ange same on tax books for the purpose of equalizing with adjoining
Townships. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.

Nebraska, for an audit of the court House offices for the year 1930 at an agreed price of $375.00. Roll call,

Motion by Whitesel, seconded by Marian, that On account of an erroneous assessment for taxes on Receipt #2647
for the year 1928 that the County Treasurer be authorized to correct an error of $13.50. Motion carried.
Motion by Marian, seconded by Ruhter, that the following resolution be adopted:
WHEREAS, on the 6th day of September 1930, there was filed with the County Clerk a petition signed by
Augusta -Berg and Fred Kroll, respectfully asking this Board to remove from the tax list of Adams County,
Nebraska, the fallowing described real estate as being a part of the Village of Prosser, Adams County, Nebraska,
to wit:
North Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, and Northwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, west of railroad
right. of way, and except that part in South Prosser, the above now owned by

6th P.M., in Adams County, Nebraska, the last described tract belonging to
petitioner Fred Kroll.
that the reason for the request to remove said described land from the tax list, as being in the village of
Prosser, being that said land is not rightly included in the boundaries of said village, and has been since
1913 erroneously taxed by the officers and authorities of Adams County, Nebraska, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Prosser, Adams County, Nebraska, being only interest therein and it is having
filed before this Board its consent for the withdrawal of said land from said Village, and the Board being
fully advised in the matter:
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY B0ABD OF SUPERVISORS OF ADAMS COUNTY, NEBRASKA, NOW IN SESSION:
1. That the prayer of the petition of said Augusta Berg and Fred Kroll should be granted, and this Board finds
the statements and allegations in their petition to be true.
and such other taxes, be imposed thereon the°same as other real estate lying outside of and not included within
the boundaries of the village of Prosser, AdamsCounty, Nebraska. No refund to be asked or paid.

Regular meeting of the Adams County Board of Supervisors held as per adjournment of September toth, 1930.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman. Roll call, members present as follows: Bauer, Cole, Furry,
Gartner, Marian, Ruhter and Whitesel.
Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Ruhter, that the Board purchase four Model A Ford Trucks long wheel base and
steel cabs at an agreed price of $2550, and two second hand Ford Trucks F.O.B. Hastings. Roll call, all
voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Cole, seconded by. Bauer, that the request of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church to exempt the
1928 taxes on the South one-half of Lot Nine, Block (30) Thirty, Saint Joseph Addition, City of Hastings,
onaccount of said property being used for religious purposes. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.

Pension for Vera Dean Sanford, and. Mrs. Minnie Kenyon, and the Clerk instructed to issue warrants for the

Motion by Whitesel, secbnded by Furry, that the third quarterly report of the County Sheriff be place on
file. Motion carried.
Motion by Whitesel, seconded by Marian, that we lease the Adams County Farm to Chas. H. Land for the year
commencing March 1st, 1931 and expiring March lst, 1932 under the same terms and conditions as lease of
1930. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
At 12 o'clock noon the Board recessed until 1:15 P.M. At 1:15 the Board again resumed with all members
present. Roll call.
Motion by Bauer, seconded by Marian, that -Adams County purchase one No.35 Combustioneer Stoker from the
Byers Lumber Co, at an agreeded price of $1291 installed in the Court House to bepaid for after Stoker
proves satisfactory. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.

Motion by Cole; seconded by Furry, that we employ A. I. Batten as Janitor for the year of 1931 at a
salary of $100.00 per month. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, seconded by Whitesel, that the request of the State Bank of Juniata to exchange
$4,000 Hastings Nebraska School Bonds, $4,000 Fall City Paving Bonds, and $2,000 Lincoln Nebraska
School Bonds for the $10,000 Liberty Bonds held as collateral for County Funds, be granted. Roll
call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Cole, seconded by Whitesel, that the order of the court in regard to the renewal of Mothers
Pension for Mrs. David Repp, Agnes Boudreau, Emma Dell Young, and Mrs. Lucy Blunt Be complied with

Special meetin g of the Adams County Board of Supervisors as per adjournment of December 5,
1930.
P. H. Gartner, Chairman presiding. Roll call, members present; Bauer, Cole, Furry, Gartner,
Marian, Ruhter and. Whitesel.
Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
Motion by Cole, second by Bauer, that the annual report of the Highway Commissioner and the
Chairman of Road and Bridge Committee be placed on file. Motion carried.
At 12 o'clock noon the Board recessed until 1:15 when they again resumed with all members
present. Roll call, Bauer, Cole, Furry, Gartner, Marian, Ruhter and Whitesel.
Motion by Ruhter, second by Cole, that the application of the State Bank of Hastings to
become a depository for County Funds for the year 1931 in the amount of $50,000, the
application of the Nebraska National. Bank of Hastings in the amount of $100,000, and the
application of the First National Bank of Hastings in the amount of $150,000 be granted.
Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Whitesel, second by Furry, that the request of the Prosser State Bank to become
a depository for County Funds for the year 1931 in the amount of $9,000 be gratned and the
securities offered be accepted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, second by Whitesel, that the request of the First State Bank of Holstein
to become a depository for County Funds for the year 1931 in the amount of $16,500 be
granted and the securities offered be accepted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Bauer, second by Whitesel, that the request of the Roseland. State Bank to become
a depository for County Funds for the year 1931 in the amount of $14,000 be granted and
the securities offered be accepted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Whitesel, second by Ruhter, that the request of the State Bank of Juniata to be-
come a depository for County Funds for the year 1931 in the amount of $10,000 be granted
and the securities offered be accepted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Furry, second by Marian, that the request of the Hansen State Bank to become a
depository for County Funds for the year 1931 in the amount of $5,000 be granted and the
securities offered be accepted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Coie, second by Bauer, that the request of the First State Bank of Hayland to
became a depository for County Funds for the year 1931 in the amount of $7500 be granted
and the securities offered be accepted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, second by Cole, that the request of the Pauline State Bank to become a
depository for County Funds for the year 1931 in the amount of $7,500 be granted and the
securities offered be accepted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Ruhter, second by Cole, that the request of the First State Bank of Kenesaw to be-
come a depository for County Funds for the year 1931 in the amount of $3Q,000 be granted
and the securities offered be accepted. Roll call, all voted aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Whitesel, second by Furry, that this board now adjourn to meet on January 8th,
1931 at 9 o'clock A. M. Motion carried. Board adjourned.
