HomeMy WebLinkAboutSP05-12-09 COURTHOUSE HASTINGS NEBRASKA Tuesday, May 12, 2009 A worksession meeting of the Adams County Board of Supervisors was held as per public notice given with Chairman, Larry Woodman, presiding. Roll call members present were: Larson, Neumann, Hynes and Woodman. Kehoe, Orthmann and Saathoff were absent. Motion by Hynes, seconded by Neumann, that this meeting is a worksession meeting of the Adams County Board of Supervisors and public notice of this meeting has been given by publication in the Hastings Tribune and by posting. An agenda was available to the members and an agenda was kept currently amended and posted in the County Clerk’s office. Roll call, ayes: Larson, Neumann, Hynes and Woodman. Nays, none. Kehoe, Orthmann and Saathoff, absent. The Chairman announced the locations of the open meetings law and agendas in the room. The purpose of the worksession was for a discussion of livestock operations in Adams County and the promotion of future operations within the County. Steve Martin and Lynn Gordon were present from the Nebraska Dept. of Agriculture. Roger Berry with A-FAN was also present. They presented information how Adams County can utilize their services to expand livestock operations in Adams County. Also present at the meeting were Dee Haussler, HEDC director, Dawn Miller, Planning Administrator and members of the Planning Commission. The meeting adjourned at 8:50 PM.
