Motion by Orthmann,seconded by Stromer that this is an open public meeting of the Adams County Board of Supervisors.Roll Call;Ayes:Stromer,Larsen,Hogan,Johnson, Curtis,Neumann,Orthmann Nays:None Chairman Hogan inquired if there were any conflicts of interest.No conflicts were disclosed. Name of Non-Profit Attraction/Facility applying for the Grant-Hastings Museum - Amount of Grant Request$25.000 Brief Description of Project Four projects have come together into one plan to improve the look and functionality of the front lawn and patio at the Hastings Museum. Included in this packet is the Schematic Design from Olsson Studio.We are committed to this renovation and are working on the engineering design drawings.A Charitable Trust is het•in_with the initial fandin=and a .nt matches. The project includes: • Fixing a leaking issue from below the front doors into the Brooking Room classroom below. • Providing shade and greenspace for our visitors. • Creating a gradual ramp to the patio that includes both bronze statues to give a sense of an outdoor exhibit area. • Providing an Outdoor Classroom to our younger visitors for healthy growth and development Now shown to be especially beneficial to both the museum and our community since the COVID pandemic. John M.Hill Adams County Representative HR Total Solutions,LLC Curtis started discussion on the voluntary extension of the Families First Corona Virus Response Act (FFCRA). Curtis stated voluntary participation would extend the benefit to employee impacted by the corona virus until March 31,2021.
