GRADING NOTES.
1. ALL FILL UNDER PAVEMENT AND THE SUBGRADE UNDER PAVEMENT SHALL BE COMPACTED TO MINIMUM
OF 95% OF STANDARD PROCTOR MAXIMUM DENSITY AT A MOISTURE CONTENT BETWEEN +3% TO -2% OF
OPTIMUM MOISTURE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS. ALL UTILITY AND OTHER EXCAVATIONS
WITHIN THE RIGHT OF WAYS SHALL BE COMPACTED EQUALLY.
2. ALL FILL IN EXCESS OF 6" IN OPEN LOTS AND IN UNPLATTED AREAS SHALL BE COMPACTED TO 90% OF
STANDARD PROCTOR DENSITY WITH NO LESS THAN 5% BELOW OPTIMUM MOISTURE.
3. ANY EXCAVATION IN THE OPEN LOTS OR UNPLATTED AREAS SHALL BE COMPACTED TO 90% OF
STANDARD PROCTOR DENSITY WITH NO LESS THAN 5% BELOW OPTIMUM MOISTURE.
