ORDINANCE No. 4161
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HASTINGS, NEBRASKA, VACATING
LOTS ONE (1), TWO (2), THREE (3), FOUR (4} AND FIVE (5) IN PLUM
SUBDIVISION; PROVIDING FOR FILING OF THE SAME WITH THE REGISTER OF
DEEDS; REPEALING INCONSISTENT PROVISIONS; AND ESTABLISHING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HASTINGS, NEBRASKA:
SECTION 1. That the legally described property:
A tract of land located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 27,
Township 8 North, Range 10 West of the 6`h P.M., Adams
County, Nebraska, more particularly described as Lots (1),
Two (2), Three (3), Four (4) and Five (5), Plum Subdivision,
City of Hastings, Adams County, Nebraska
SECTION 2. Be and the same are hereby vacated of said property.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to certify this ordinance to the Register
of Deeds of Adams County, Nebraska to be recorded, all as provided by law.
SECTION 4. Any ordinance passed and approved prior to the passage, approval and
publication or posting of this ordinance, and in conflict with its provisions is hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. The provisions of this ordinance are separable, and the invalidity of any
phrase, clause or part of this ordinance shall not affect the validity or effectiveness of the
remainder of this ordinance.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its
passage, approval and publication or posting as required by law, in its entirety, or in pamphlet
form, as the case may be, said effective date being 15 days from and after the date this ordinance
is passed approved, said effective date being January 30, 2008 .This ordinance
shall not be included in the Hastings City Code Book.
