Base Lift will consist of 2 1/2" Type 14 from B to C st. and (4" Type 14 from C to D st.)
Top Lift will consist of 1 1/2" Type 17c/.40 from B to C st. and (2" Typel7c/.40 from C to D st.)
Asphalt sub -base may require various patching to be determined by Engineer
after milling operation and street has been cleaned.
* Ends and returns on Project will be sawed prior to installation of Base Lift.
Contractor shall use caution not to damage driveways during the removal of existing asphalt.
Contractor will lay asphalt up to the existing new asphalt at C and B street.
Millings to be hauled to city landfill to be stockpiled
Asphalt shall not cover flow lines in gutter on both sides.
Extra care will be taken to maintain water flow.
Approximately 122 Cubic Yards of excavation will be derived from the construction of this project.
Excess excavation shall be property of the City of Hastings. A haul site shall be determined by the engineer.
Contractor is resposible to place asphalt insets into driveways where needed.
