Sheryl J. Place, also known as Sheryl Place, being of legal age and duly
sworn, states upon her oath:
1. That the Affiant is the wife of Robert E. Place and a resident of the City of
Hastings, Adams County, Nebraska;
2. That the Affiant is the attorney-in-fact given full power and authority in a
certain Durable Power of Attorney executed on the 12th day of December, 2007, by Robert
E. Place to sell and to convey real estate;
3. That by virtue of a Warranty Deed executed on the 2nd day of August, 1976, the
said Robert E. Place is the sole titleholder of the following real estate:
The South Fifty-Four and One-Half Feet (S 541/2') of Lot Six (6) of Block Four (4)
in Webster and Wemple's Addition to the City of Hastings, Adams County,
Nebraska, according to the recorded plat thereof, also known as 701 Hewett
Avenue, Hastings, Nebraska;

4. That on the date of the execution of this Affidavit and of conveyance of the said
real estate by the Affiant she had no knowledge of terniination of the said Durable Power
of Attorney by the death of the said Robert E. Place or by revocation thereof, that the said
Robert E. Place remains alive and that the said Durable Power of Attorney remains in full
force and effect;

5. That the Affiant recognizes and acknowledges that, if this conveyance should be
voided by a court and if the estate of the said Robert E. Place made subject to probate, then
the real estate conveyed by virtue of the said Durable Power of Attorney may be included
in the intestate share of the Affiant as the surviving spouse of the said Robert E. Place.
Further the Affiant sayeth not.
