Adams County Attorney, Donna Fegler-Diass, presented the Board with the secondary public defender bid received by Langvardt,Valle and James P.C.,that was opened during the June 7,2016 board meeting. Transfer payments will be made by County on a monthly basis to the City Treasurer. The County's current collection of the County Library levy is$ . This amount shall be the base amount for subsequent fiscal years during the term of this Interlocal Agreement, The County shall not transfer less than the base amount to City annually in any subsequent fiscal year. The base amount shall be adjusted for inflation each year by the City/County Combined Services Committee prior to the adoption of both the City and County's annual budget. In no event shall the inflationary adjustment exceed three and one-half percent(3.5%)for any subsequent fiscal year. 5. The County Board shall appoint a resident of the county lying outside the corporate limits of the City of Hastings as a non-voting liaison member to the City's Library Board. Said Library Board liaison to serve a year term. 6. In addition, County shall maintain its current Bookmobile Sinking Fund balance as of start of its 2015-16 Fiscal Year. All new fun..collected by the County for the Bookmobile Sinking Fund in Fiscal Year 2015-16 r =e transferred by County to City and shall be set aside by City in a sinking fu' •ay for the maintenance and replacement of the Bookmobile.
