0723 Minutes for July 23, 2019 (BOE - Property Valuation Protests)
COUTHOUSE HASTINGS,NEBRASKA Tuesday,July 23,2019 The Adams County Board of Supervisors met as a Board of Equalization for the purpose of hearing property valuation protests,with Vice-Chairman Curtis presiding.Present were Board members; Stromer,Larsen,Hogan,Curtis and Neumann;County Clerk Ramona Thomas,assistant recorder Paula Scheil,County Assessor Jackie Russell,Adams County Appraisers,Bernie Parr,Shannon Bird and Stuart Nabower. Board members absent were;Thomsen and Orthmann Motion by Hogan,seconded by Stromer that this is an open meeting that was advertised in the Hastings Tribune.Roll Call: Stromer, Larsen,Hogan,Curtis,Neumann Nays: 0 Absent/Abstaining:Thomsen,Orthmann ----The Pledge of Allegiance was performed. Vice-Chairman Curtis requested that board members disclose any conflicts of interest with the protests to be heard today. No Conflicts of interest were disclosed. Prior to presenting evidence supporting their claims,all protesters and/or representatives present and wishing to speak signed an oath stating the information they are providing is the truth to the best of their knowledge and belief.
