Chairman Orthmann opened the meeting for comments from the public. No public comments were made. Hastings Rural Fire Department representative, Randy Kort,spoke to the Board regarding the possibility of constructing a shop for the rural fire department vehicles at the current Adams County Extension office site on South Baltimore Avenue. Deputy County Attorney David Bergin advised that he would need to research the procedure for selling or leasing the ` ' land to the rural fire district before any action can be taken.
