A regular meeting of the Adams County Board of Commissioners was held with Chairman Lee Hogan
presiding.
Motion by Neumann, seconded by Johnson that this is an open public meeting of the Adams County
Board of Commissioners. Roll Call,Ayes:Stromer, Larsen, Hogan,Johnson,Curtis, Neumann, Patterson
Nays: None Absent: None
Chairman Hogan inquired if there were any conflicts of interest. No conflicts were disclosed.
Roll was taken, roll call members present, Michael Stromer-District 1, Glen Larsen—District 2, Lee
Hogan- District 3, Harold Johnson—District 4, Dale Curtis- District 5,Chuck Neumann—District 6,Joe
Patterson- District 7
Chairman Hogan stated minutes from the February 15, 2022 meeting have been circulated to board
members and requested a motion to approve the minutes if there are no corrections.

Adams County Assistance Roads Supervisor,Greg Anderson, presented 2022 gravel bids received.
Anderson reviewed all bids received and stated the recommendation of the roads committee is to
accept the low bids on each of quarter and award both bids received for the stock pile.

Adams County Maintenance Director,Tom Reichert, requested approval of declaring a 1998 Chevy
Blazer as surplus and offering it for sale in accordance with state statute.
Motion by Patterson,seconded by Stromer to approve declaring the 1998 Chevy Blazer as surplus and

Commissioner Stromer provided a list of revised security check point procedures for the main
courthouse building:

Motion by Patterson,seconded by Stromer to close the annual Adams County Cemetery Board meeting

Regular session resumed at 10:19 am
Adams County Emergency Management Director, Ron Pughes, presented the Board with an updated
Adams County Local Emergency Hazardous Response Plan. Pughes has revied the plan and is requesting
board approval.
Motion by Neumann,seconded by Patterson to approve the revised Adams County Local Emergency
Hazardous Response Plan as presented by Pughes. Roll Call,Ayes:Stromer, Larsen, Hogan,Johnson,
Curtis, Neumann, Paterson Nays: None Absent: None
Commissioner Neumann requested the board approve the reappointment of Donna Fegler Daiss to the
South Heartland District Health Department Board as her term is up but is eligible for another term.
Motion by Patterson,seconded by Stromer to approve the reappointment of Donna Fegler Daiss to the
South Heartland District Health Department Board. Roll Call,Ayes:Stromer, Larsen, Hogan,Johnson,
Curtis, Neumann, Paterson Nays: None Absent: None
Commissioner Curtis requested that his agenda item of signing an intent to purchase agreement for jail
furnishings be tabled until the March 16, 2022 meeting,giving the Adams County Attorney an
opportunity to review the agreement.
Motion by Stromer,seconded by Johnson to table discussion and action on the intent to purchase
