Board met in regular session, called to order by the Clerk. Roll call, all members present as follows: D.N.Bitner, T.G.Whiting, B.F.Schlegel, J.T.Hynes, John Foff, F.J.Benedict and N.D.Kidder. Mr.Bitner was chosen temporary chairman. The Board then proceeded to select a chairman, the first ballot resulting in three votes for Hynes, two for Bitner, and two for Schlegel; the second ballot, three votes for Hynes, three for Bitner, one for Schlegel; and the third ballot, three for Hynes and four for Bitner. Mr.Bitner was declared elected. A recess for thirty minutes was then ordered by the chair. At the expiration of the recess the Board reassembled, all members present. Standing committees for the year were then announced by the chairman as follows: Settlement Committee: Whiting, Chairman; Toff, Kidder, Hynes, Benedict, Schlegel, Bitner. Finance Committee: Kidder, Chairman; Schlegel, Hynes, Benedict, Foff, Bitner and Whiting. Complaint Committee: Hoff, Chairman; Benedict and Bitner.
